Team building

Formation matters as much as hero names.

Last Asylum combat uses a five-hero squad. A practical setup is two frontline heroes and three backline heroes, with durability in front and damage or utility behind it.

Front row

Use tanks or durable frontline heroes. Their job is to absorb first contact and prevent the backline from collapsing.

Back row

Use damage dealers and support heroes. This row should convert frontline time into burst damage, buffs, or healing value.

Faction logic

Community hero guides describe Warrior, Ranger, and Warlock faction counters, plus stat bonuses for same-faction lineups.

Investment rule

Do not spread Antitoxin and skill materials too thin. A focused main squad usually outperforms a wide roster of half-built heroes.

Upgrade requirements

Antitoxin, stars, and Skill Badges.

Hero progression uses three material paths: Antitoxin for level upgrades, hero shards for stars, and Skill Badges for skill levels. The important planning point is that costs spike sharply after early milestones, so players should protect resources for their main squad.

Star upgrades

Stars use hero-specific shards or omni shards. Higher stars unlock additional effects and higher skill ceilings.

At 10 stars, heroes enter the Hall of Honor and gain bonus progression value.
